In 2019 Paul obtained his master’s degree in Information Law at the Institute for Information Law of the University of Amsterdam. He wrote his thesis about the influence of the ‘uploadfilter’ of article 17 DSM-directive on user generated content platforms. In addition to his studies, Paul did various internships at law firms, including at a niche firm in the field of intellectual property law and at Ploum. Moreover, Paul was closely involved in setting up a FinTech start-up during his studies. In 2018, Paul started as a working student at Ploum. He has been working at Ploum as a legal consultant since September 2019.
