Ferah Taptik

Legal Consultant

Ferah works as a legal consultant and is a member of team Customs, Trade & Logistics. 


Ferah is specialised in trade, customs and transport law. She focuses on advising on matters concerning international trade of goods, liability issues in the supply chain and fiscal matters such as antidumping duties, origin and classification.


Ferah graduated from Leiden University, where she obtained a master’s degree in Civil Law. She wrote her master thesis on collective damages in class actions. During her studies at Leiden University, Ferah participated in several extracurricular programs, such as the Master Honours Class.

Throughout her studies Ferah has obtained experience in various (large) law firms, has worked as a (private) law tutor and has served as an editor for the official law journal of the Faculty of Law.

Furthermore, Ferah studied a semester at Koc University in Istanbul where she also gained experience  as a Research Assistant in the Public International Law and Transport and Insurance Law departments.
